RX7 ECU Plug Differences

Is there a difference between a JDM 3rd Generation (1995-1996) RX7 ecu plugs and a JDM 5th generation (1999-2000)?

The reason why I'm asking is I have a 3rd generation rx7 1995 and another guy wants to sell me a Apexi Power FC + Commander that was on his 2000 RX7. I would like to know if the plugs on both cars are the same, and whether this ECU will work.
