RX7.com vs Pettit racing Shifter Renew kit
Searching this and the rx7 one is very cheap compared to the pettit racing and I am guessing because of the extra hardware?

All that stuff can be bought from Mazda new as well. Pettit definitely won't have the better price.
What I would get - Top and bottom "cup" bushings Slot bushing Small bushing at bottom of shift lever into the cup on the shift rod Miata inner shift boot - search the forum, I have posted about this in the past. I think it's a '99+ Miata boot, it's the boot that bolts to the trans. The Miata one works fine and is WAY cheaper. Maybe the big outer shift boot, it's more pricey and sometimes it isn't super bad. The wave springs that go above and below the cup bushings can often be re-used. Putting new bushings in can make a night and day difference, it's something you notice and enjoy every time you drive the car. Anyhow, email Ray for a price on everything, he will take care of you. ^Agree. Don't forget to grease the lower bushing and ball socket/cup bushings as called for in the FSM. Seems like it get's over-looked, probably because it's submersed in gear oil and guys assume it's not needed. IMO it makes a lot of difference in smoothness and wear.

Ok thanks. Will search some more and reach out to Ray. Searching forums is like an art :) I searched for about 3 hours reading on different stuff I need :(

I got my stuff from Mazdatrix.
Transmission The boots will keep stink and heat out and the bushings will help with slop. It's best to do it all at once. |

Kudos to Ray. None of my local contacts could come up with an OEM windshield molding after I caught a rock. Ray had one to me in a week.
