rx-7 parts suggestions, need some quick help
 

Hello, I just got a hold of a 94 mazda miata that has been transformed with an entire rx-7 3rd gen 1993 drivertrain from the rotary motor to the brakes, however the engine is blown and i have a replacement ready to drop in but i wanted to add a few extra items and am not sure exactly what i should get,

1. i would like to purchase a manual for the car like haynes but am having trouble finding one. i would like to have an actual book instead of a computerized one. Would anyone know where to purchase one at a low cost?

2. i am going to upgrade the clutch and want to add a lightened flywheel, i plan to drive this car quite abit on the streets so i want something that is still easy to drive. i have seen flywheels range from about 8-13lbs, what would be the advanatages and disadvantages of going lighter/heavier?

with the clutch i would like to get something that will hold enough power where i dont have to worry about failure. i have replaced clutches before but havent driven anything with a real high performance clutch, how much does the feel vary from upgrading to stage one or two?

3. i plan to add the Power FC management system. is this a good system or is there something better to get. I have hear it gets rid of many of the vacuum lines that can cause problems. is this correct?

if anyone can give me some suggestions that would be greatly appreciated. I hope to get his car up and going in the near future. thanks

1. Haynes doesn't make a manual for the 3rd gen RX-7. Not sure about the Miata, but either way the best one is the factory one.

2. Heavier flywheels offer better driveability but rob some power. Lighter flywheels free up some power but are not as friendly on your clutch foot in a street-driven car and going too light can wear your clutch prematurely. (This point is arguable)

3. The PowerFC is arguably the best engine management system for the 13B-REW, however it does not allow you to remove any vacuum hoses. Only a simplified sequential, non-sequential, or single turbo will allow you to do that

would it be a good idea to get the additional boost controller?

Not necessary. The PFC does the job using the factory solenoids and works fine. Boost controller = waste of money.
