Auto to Manual Change over

Hey guys I was wondering what it would take to change a 3rd gen from Auto trasn to manual? Any wiring issues, flywheel differences, etc? Is it just simply sticking a clutch and manual trans in?
Thanks

There are several good how-to's on here check the FAQ as well.

Here is the start of my thread, never really got around to updating it.
Anyway, I copied the DIY I followed, and then added some comments in bold for things that I found along the way.

It seems like a huge task at first, but it's really not that bad.

I also took my trans apart and replaced the 5th gear synchro.
Only special tools you need for that is a gear puller which I picked up at Advanced Auto for ~$20 and then a piece of metal to make the arms longer.
