RX-7 import numbers

I can feel a debate coming on the supraforums. I'd like some numbers to back up my arguement. I'm trying to convey the point that fd's are more rare than supras. Basically there were around 12,000 supra's imported to the u.s.a. Only around 6500ish were TT's. By my last memory the numbers of fd's was alot lower. With all the ls1's swaps going on in 10 years I think a low mileage fd will be quite a rare car. Does anyone have any numbers to back up my claims? Oh and I tried searching and couldn't pull anything up. But this is open to debate as well.

11) How many FDs were made?

It's about 13,500.

wow I guess I was way off. I guess there were alot more fd's. Plus them all being TT is a huge deal. Guess this is kind of a short debate.

I don't understand your point.

His point is that rotaries are rare by comparison to pistons
