Running rough and rich
 

The car died a few days ago and would not start. I checked the compression (looks ok), replaced the plugs (old ones were dry). I fired it up, it sounds like in the video. White smoke comes out of the exhaust and around the turbo (back of the engine). When adding gas, the factory boost gauge shows max. I checked the fuel pump, it seems fine. Before the car wouldn't start, the ground coming out behind the intake was not connected to anything(photo), the video with the ground connected. What could be wrong?

Based on your description and video I would start with checking that you don't have a stuck injector dumping fuel, replacing the map sensor with a known good one and spinning the motor over with the plugs out to HEAR the pulses.

Based on the boost gauge in the cluster being maxed out, I would bet the problem is a failed map sensor but let's work through the process. Start with the map sensor since it's the easiest thing requiring the least effort.

Actually, the first issue was disconnected ground and probably that’s why didn’t start. But between connecting ground and first start, I changed spark plugs. One of the wires seemed to not “click” on plug, I squeezed it a bit and now car works. I ordered new wires.

Glad you got it sorted. That ground goes around the rear most upper intake manifold stud. You want to put the upper intake manifold in place, put that ground on, then tighten up the nut. You don't want the ground between the two manifolds - huge vacuum leak if so.

Actually it goes to the lift hook bolt that is pictured with the chassis ground

I got it bolted there.
