Running A/C with a FMIC

I bought my car off of my friend and when he had the Greddy FMIC installed he decided to rip the A/C out, not on of the smartest things to do down in FL. I was looking at the car to see what I would need to get the A/C working again and I was woundering if this is possible? All of the lines look like they are still there and oviously I would have to get a compresor, but were the hell would I mount the condensor? I was woundering if there is anyone running there A/C with a FMIC and if so what do I have to do because this is making me hate driving the car.

I am running A/C with a Greddy FMIC. Depending on how your radiator is mounted, there should be plenty of room for the A/C coils. At a minimum you would probably need to mount the rad and coil vertically. It is ok to mount the coil very close to the radiator.

i have an extra compressor if you can't find one.

Is there any way that you could post me a pic of how you have this set up? That would be lots of help. Thanks.

when you instal the intercooler kit it incledes new mounting brackets for the condensor. it mount directly in front of the radiator, you kind of have to bent the tubes to fit.

does anyone have pics of an ac condenser mounted horizontally, like parallel with the undertray.

This isn't the greatest picture, but it should give you some idea. This is what mine looked like when I bought it. I have since moved the radiator to a slightly more vertical position. I'll have to look and see if I have a better picture somewhere.

Mine is mounted horizontally but I'm not sure you could do it with tray still on the car. I plan on moving in front of the radiator and putting the tray back on.

So does the condensor mount to the acutal radiator

Does anyone know?

no, the condensor has its own mounts.

I have my condenser on still also with a Blitz front mount. It mounts like others have said right in front of the radiator with brackets that mount to under the frame on top and on the radiator brackets on the bottom. Sure it was a pain in the ass to get it to line up and get the lines to bend right without pinching them but I think haveing the AC available to use is much needed even if I never use it. I can take some pics tonight if needed.
