Rpm source...?

I bought the Zeitronix wideband kit and software and I have to say that it is awesome. But I would really like to have the rpm's there to reference off of when datalogging, so I need a rpm source. I have tried the service wiring manual, but no luck. I thought that there was one in the fusebox but after some pics of the top cover, it seems that there isnt one. I checked the faq's and nothing there either. Can anyone tell where I can get a rpm reference from or know of a thread that can help me? thanks!

no problem. its come in handy many times. just make sure you read it right, i believe it is as though the wire are leaving the ecu. just double check before you start cutting and splicing

You don't have a PFC or other logging ecu?

I do have the Pfc and the commander. But the wideband kit that I ordered comes with the datalogging software, and for 270 shipped, it isnt a bad deal. Buying any other wideband and then the datalogit for the PFC would run me more. So in between the Zeitronix kit and the commander I should be set. The datalogging kit that comes with the Wideband has tps, rpm, boost, lambda, egt and others. It logs them all together for as long as you are saving data. So it is alot easier to view the data together then having to look back and forth at the afr to the controller. So I can use the Zeitronix kit to log data and the controller to change the afr's, and watch other variables like intake temps and duty cycles. I know that the datalogit does all of this, but if I bought it, I would still have to buy a wideband for more than the entire Zeitronix kit. Think it was a bad decision?
