RPM & MPH wiring question

as some of u may or may not know my project is done but I havent figured out how to wire my RPM or my MPH for those of u who have microtechs or haltech how did u wire them to work?

ground

There is a ground wire in one of the connectors the goes to the stock computer. It relies on the computer to ground it to make the gauges work. Now the stock comp. is gone it has no ground. Its one of the smaller connectors maybe about 15 wires in it. There will be a larger (i think black) wire near the center. Ground this out and problem fixed. I have a TECH3R and had to rewire all the instument gauges. Any questions email me KBSRX7@hotmail.com

I forgot

You are probally have to bring a tach signal to the RPM gauge from the haltech. I don't remember exactly which wire this is ,I thing blue/yellow I found this info from a power fc pin read out somewhere. I know the haltech is a different system but I think its the same bullshit. Do you have the coolant buzzer on too?
