Yes

^Better late than never right? I've got to pick up a copy so I can steal some of Rich's ideas for this year :)

Hey! not everyone is baller like Rich to spend $500 a weekend on a track day... I have nothing again those who build and still enjoys the car, outside the track :)

That being said, Congrats Rich!!!

Also, timing is PERFECT!! He got the feature at DGRR and Now we could all pick up a copy and get Rich to sign it at this year's DGRR.

OH.. Modified Magazine will be picking one or more rotaries to feature in the future at this years DGRR.. Unlike last year, winner will not be guarantee a spot and its something Modified Magazine will pick. Last year's car show thing was just too complex and way too many people were upset... This year, less drama and lets just enjoy the event!

Congrats again RICH!!! Your car is a good example how we should build and maintain FD3S.

Screw that. Rich is the one always asking for my signature...When I pay the shop with checks out of my meager life savings.

Thanks guys, much appreciated :)

Please support Modified magazine by picking up a copy, they've been giving rotaries a lot of coverage lately and the mag keeps shrinking in size month after month. I remember this happening with Sport Compact Car and we all know how that ended up.

Special thanks to Phil Sohn of Deals Gap Rotary Rally for putting on the absolute BEST event of the year (every year), and offering the opportunity to be featured in such a great magazine :icon_tup:

Here are some teaser shots, one that made it in the mag and one that didn't:

Hi guys! I'm the photographer that drove to Jersey to meet up with Rich and get his FD shot for Modified!

First of all, congrats to Rich on winning the DGRR, and subsequently the feature in Modified! Rich is a great guy and 100% deserving of this feature and more! I mean it when I say I've literally NEVER had a photoshoot go more pleasantly than this one with Rich and his car did. Absolutely top notch guy who even had spots picked out for me before I got there!

I wish these had been published much sooner than they had, but there is nothing I can do about that, and I'm just glad that Rich is happy with the feature!

And the car... forget it. Not that I've seen millions of FD's... but if I had, Rich's car might still be the cleanest, and the sexiest. Just drop dead gorgeous!

Anyway, I did just email Rich some pics, and I can't say that I even know WHICH of my photos made it into the magazine (because I don't have a copy yet) but I did want to swing by, and join up to post up some shots I took for the magazine, since I already have them hosted.

I hope you guys enjoy!

Congrats Rich!!! Awesome! Back to back rotaries! I was on last months issue :)

camajo 03-03-12 01:08 PM

Congratz and it looks great. I love that you kept the R1 spoiler to go with the 99 spec front end. I think it makes for the perfect combo!

If you dont know the whole back story that makes this comment even better.:nod:

I have love for all FDs, but those getting thrown around on a track or getting the shit kicked out of them on a drag strip always hold a special place in my heart. Beautiful car that gets used how Mazda engineers intended.:icon_tup:

Congrats again, Rich!
