Replacing Clutch Master. How to access that bolt? :(
Based on very few threads about replacing clutch master, I assume this is a straightforward job. But not quite for me. :(
How should I access one of the two bolts that is on the left side from the clutch pedal? I can barely see it let alone using a wrench in there. I've taken off the steering wheel to have more reach, but still not enough. Any ideas? |
When in doubt, use the torch!
Haha no, I ran into the same problem when replacing mine a while back... My problem was the dash mat was restricting me from getting a wrench over the nut and I didnt have a deep well socket to fit. Best solution was to cut the dash mat and peel it back enough to allow a rachet wrench over it. Once I was done I zip tied that mat back together. Also this is assuming your running into the same problem as I did. |
Use a deep well socket with extension and swivel.
Once you have the right tools it's no problem at all. |
Thanks for replies. Finally managed to do it with the tool Fritz mentioned
