Replacing broken rear window, do I need to order new seals too?

I already have the new rear window i ordered from black dragon auto. Are new window seals necessary when the window replacement niggas come and change out the glass? just wanna check in with you guys first just if case if they try to pull some stuff to make more money and i'd have to pee in someone's butt.

thank you.

I went ahead and ordered my replacement seal from ray at malloy when I had my car painted. Not sure if the RX-7 has a hard-to-find seal or not. You may want to call some local installers to see what they charge. Price may not be too bad locally...
Good luck.

Oun,

I've had 3 windshields replaced and the dude always used the same molding. Aside from the labor, it's just the windshield and the sealer. I did purchase a rear window molding because I wanted a fresh black one. But unless the molding's been leaking or there's undesirable cosmetic damage to the molding, you don't need to replace it, and you can use the original molding.

I always ask the installer about the warranty on the labor and what is he going to do if it starts leaking. That gives him an incentive to do it right the first time and put the sealant on extra thick to make sure there's no part of the perimeter he missed. And I personally watch to be sure there's no break in the bead.
