Removal of passenger side door panel

I removed the driver side door panel with ease but I'm having some trouble removing the passenger side door panel. It seems as though there is a bolt holding the panel to the door right where the handle bar is located. However, I cannot seem to find this bolt. I tried tugging but I'm scared the door panel might snap in half due to excessive force. :squint:

you need to take the window switch out and you will see the bolt.

Yes, you MUST pull out the window switch and access the screw behind it!

You newbs need to learn how to find and use the manuals.
Doing so will help your confidence and knowledge more than JUST ASKING.

Why do you think we experienced owners know so much, we learned mostly on our own, and are not afraid to tackle something new with only our own knowledge.

Sorry, master. I just purchased the RX-7 last week. Didn't see the sticky stuff, but at least I know now and knowing is half the battle.

This post is helpful. Therefore, I had to add my 2 cents.
Home Depot has 3M Friction Tape in their electrical department.

Put some friction tape on the end of a screw driver. Then push the screwdriver into the slot between the window switch and door handle. While pressing the screwdriver into this slot, pry toward the window switch.
