removal of the AC
I was thinking of removing the AC and I can't find any info on it in particular. If anyone could give me some guidance in doing this I would greatly appreciate it.

I think it would be pretty straight forward as removing the condensor and teh pump and getting a shorter belt. Voila! ANd remove the fuse.

Do I need to worry about leaking any gas from the condensor tank? Thanks again.

thats between you and your God!
take it to a place to haev it drained. they will most likely do it for free as you are giving the something they can sell. :) the removal is straight forward. |
1. Have the freon pulled at a local shop.
2. diconnect the condensor and pull it 3. disconnect airpump and pull it 4. chase lines like the two leaving the pass side fire wall and pull them (if it is a touring model pm me I need one of these) 5. Remove the expansion valve behind the glovebox 6. Pull Relay 7. take all parts and sell them 8. install new belt (shorter) That is about it... there is some more stuff under the dash you can pull too while your at it if you want. Good luck! Ryker |
