Reliability

Hi, I'm thinking that I might want to purchase a 3rd gen (93-94) here in the next 3-4 months. The question that I have is how reliable they are. I ask this because after looking at some of the discussions that are going on in your for sale area, I'm wondering if I want to spend the money when some of the people on there are talking about having to replace the turbos and the engine at around 90000 miles. The turbos I can understand, but the engine...... I love the car in general and I think that it holds a lot of potential. I'm just asking for everyone's imput if anything becauase you own the car.
Thanks

actually turbos will usually last way past 100k miles,

as long as you dont bust em somehow
But yeah, read the site posted above me.

Well, I thought I would somehow be an exception to the rule...

Blew water seals at 101K

Don't buy this car unless you are prepared to plunk down 4Gs+ for a new engne at any given time. You might be lucky, but its only a matter of time until your luck runs out.

My turbos are ok so far.
