Reinforcement of clutch fork?

Its starting to look like mines taken a crap.... It will stay in gear clutch pedal in or not... I'm going to rebuild both cylinders tomorrow just for shits and giggles. But thats looking like a long shot but either way if it is the fork... has anyone reinforced theirs before? I've got the ACT heavy p/p and well its not stock so I was wondering if I should follow the way of the redneck and add some metal to it...? Opinions... Suggestions?
thanks,
Ryker

Before I started spending money I would drop the inspection plate on the bellhousing and have someone depress the clutch while I looked in there. Should be obvious what your troubles are. FWIW unless the pedal is spongy your clutch master and slave cylinders are fine.

No reinforcement I'm aware of for the clutch fork. My original one broke @ 95,000 miles. I have an ACT pressure plate FWIW...

the clutch fork could have just popped off the release collar also

Here is the source of the problem... look familiar to anyone... Also just rebuilt both cylinders using the rebuild kits from autozone... looks great and fits well took about 2 hours to do.

So pulling the tranny... anything else need to be done while I'm in there? anything special I need to keep in mind.... I've yet to do this but luckly I'll be using my friends shop equipment... still trying to figure out best way to get my car over to his shop w/ clutch not dis engaging... I'm guessing I may have to tow it dammit!
Thanks people!

There is an upgraded fork you can buy. I think jt-imports has it. While you are in there you might consider replacing the throw out bearing.
