If you have to ask then you can't afford it. ;)

Black97VR4 02-18-04 10:21 PM

Would it even fit?

Gargamel 02-18-04 10:22 PM

These dollar amounts should shut alot of people up.

Black97VR4 02-18-04 10:45 PM

I'm sure someone will be bringing it up again tomorrow. :)

cloud9 02-18-04 11:06 PM

sticky this in the third gen section maybe that will help

DSMguywantsFD 02-19-04 01:20 AM

is that based off of the 12a or 13b?

Kevin T. Wyum 02-19-04 01:54 AM

Hrmm shouldn't someone be posting about what a rip off that is and how they could make it themselves for $250 because they have a buffing wheel and a friend of a friend with a torque wrench?

clayne 02-19-04 02:08 AM

:hah:

Kiwi-RE very much know what they are doing too. Extremely capable.

A more reasonable request would be for a custom 20b e-shaft. 4-rotor, with our average level of financing (Jim excluded of course :hah: ) is just pipe dreaming at this point.

felix_is_alive 02-19-04 06:11 AM

hhhmmmm get a 20b engine ....or an eccentric for a 4-rotor?????

LMAO!!! This sounds like bitter old Peter Farrell.

vspecpgt 02-19-04 09:23 AM

why is the engine block so much? isn't it just a 13b/12a with two more housings and side plates?

I emailed them again last night. I asked if it was based off a 12A. I also asked what the engine block included.

I'll post their reply here when I receive it.

Not as simple as it sounds.

SPOautos 02-19-04 09:52 AM

So basically in theory, I could buy that e-shaft for $5,600 and a used good engine for about $1000, mate that engine with my current engine. Make a tubular intake manifold, weld 2 KG fuel rails together, buy another primary fuel rail. Have some real long tention bolst made. Sell the front section of one engine to buy another intermediate housing and WHOLA, I could have a 4rotor.

hmm, wonder how much the one off oil pan would cost?

Now to get it in that car haha

j/k

You could simply connect the two engines together with these

HELL YEA, thats an awesome idea!!! Then I wouldnt have to worry about getting tention bolts.

Damn, good thinking

LOL
