Rebuild almost done
 

Well it's been a couple of months now since all this started. There has been frustration involved, but its almost done and learned alot. This is my first time working on a 7, hope i didnt do to bad lol. Taking my car to my friends shop so he can fab the intercooler pipe, DP, Wastegate adapter (HKS manifold, Tial W/G), oil lines, intake pipe, and any other details needed. Got my street ported engine rebuilt by Mazdatrix in, and I hope I plugged in all the plugs I need in order to get my engine running, since I have converted to a single unit. Henry at Mazdatrix told me about cranking the engine with no fuel to get the oil pressure up, but is there any more advice you guys can give me? The engine is streetported and has new housings. Im currently running the stock ecu and secondaries. I have my new fuel system, but I figured I could break in the engine for 1k miles at 0 boost till I get my PFC in a few weeks. Any advice would be appreciated. Here some pics of what my cars current state is.

The lack of the rat's nest will throw the stock ecu into "limp home" mode. Just wait until you put a PFC in to break her in.

Also, no offense, but the cold side intercooler piping is seriously strange. Why didn't you get a Greddy elbow and just run a close to straight pipe? That is a lot of extra piping and bends you don't need. Just my 2 cents.

hehe thanks for the comment, the intake pipe Ive had since we did the FMIC, and since im moving to Japan for 3 years in november im not that worried about it since I plan on getting the Cosmo UIM for it (if im not mistaken, I read that it flows better). I just need to get the car going since its my only car, and I have been borrowing my friends car wich he needs as well lol.

What size is that turbo? Looks somewhat on the small side. But then again it could be angle of the pic.. T04?

hehe theres an FMIC there, just in front of the koyo. That turbo is a T04S, bought it from my friend, I still need to get the exact speccs on it. He was going to run 2 of these on his supra but then decided to go with just 1 huge one lol.
