lift the car up hehe

No sorry man I have no idea, I know there is some sealant, but I dont think that would keep it on.

rx7raca 11-19-03 08:33 PM

car is about 18inches off the ground

XSTransAm 11-19-03 08:51 PM

get a propane torch and heat up the contact patchs, should come off, dont pry or you can bend stuff (if your strong) :D

I think there are 6 bolts that hold it on. Two in the front "leg" of either side and then two up towards the back of the subframe.

rx7raca 11-19-03 09:30 PM

ya i got those. its 2 on each leg then 2 nuts in the back.

No, Jeff meant two in the back on each side, as shown below. Cobra 8.8" differential optional. :)

I'm not sure yet. I still have to have the axles fabricated to interface with the stock RX-7 hubs.

The front stud is tucked up into the subframe, so it's pretty easy to miss unless you're looking up from below.

jimlab what color paint is that?
'02 Corvette Electron Blue Metallic.

Lots of pics, and the welding jig to reproduce it. The pictures were cross-linked here from my thread on www.torquecentral.com, but they're all showing as broken images now, so you'll have to go directly to the source.
