rear subframe will NOT come OFF!!!
ok i took everything off that needed to be, i took off the 2 rear nuts, the 4 front bolts and it will not come off. the shocks, everything. is it glued on or something?!?!:(
i tryed to use a bar to pry it off. no luck. it will not move. the bar even bent little bit. im really confused. everything is off. why is it still on! plz help |
lift the car up hehe
No sorry man I have no idea, I know there is some sealant, but I dont think that would keep it on. |
car is about 18inches off the ground

get a propane torch and heat up the contact patchs, should come off, dont pry or you can bend stuff (if your strong) :D
|
im kinda scared of using fire because the gas tank is right there.
so there is nothing im missing then huh? no hiddin bolts or nuts? this is weird. i still have the ppf on there maybe ill use that to pull it down. any other ideas would be helpful. thanks |
I think there are 6 bolts that hold it on. Two in the front "leg" of either side and then two up towards the back of the subframe.
|
ya i got those. its 2 on each leg then 2 nuts in the back.
|
