Rear squeal while driving

After doing lots of searching and trial and error I come here with my persistent problem.

I get this high pitch squeal from the rear of the car as if the pads are rubbing against the rotor. I have taken them apart a few times now trying different things. Since I have HPS pads that come with the shims attached the them I had originally left the factory ones off at the begining and everything was fine. Since the begining of the year I have had this squealing now which occurs at any speeds from 5km/h to highway speeds.

I therefore tried the following so far: putting on the factory shims, making sure to lube the guide pins, also tried sanding down the edges on the pads, using the v-spring at the top and bottom of pads, check the sheild to make sure it wasn't rubbing or had any debris.

Now I'm thinking of trying to put some silicone on the pads where they touch the caliper so that it retracts from the rotor but am thinking theres gotta something else wrong or at fault. When I spin the wheel by hand while the car is up I don't hear anything at all which has me questioning where it's coming from now.

Is there even something else in the rear that could be causing this?

Thanks for your help!

I noticed the other night that I'm experiencing a similar issue. I pulled the rear wheels off to check the rotors/pads and nothing obvious.

Just wanted add that I also double checked that the two caliper mounting bolts were in their proper spot. I know that they will rub against the rotor if they aren't in the right spot as one has a washer and the other doesn't.
