how would you EVER fit someone back there heh

SpoolinRX 06-13-05 01:19 AM

Japs are small, why do you think it never made it to the states?

jic 06-13-05 04:35 AM

japs arent small, theyre REAL small

Godzilla-T78 06-13-05 12:14 PM

contrary to belief... those seats are actually huge for what they are.. they are REALLLY deep, someone 6ft tall can sit in them if the driver or passanger leaves room for their feet. I stuff my fiance in em all the time as well as my 5foot somthing friends and they always talk about how unbelievable it is that they are as comfortable as they are for how the look.

does anyone have any pictures?

Sonny 06-13-05 06:00 PM

Wow...nice. If those are big enough to hold a car seat, I'll be all over that!

i'll take some pictures tomorrow.
let me tell you though, there is not much leg room in the back, if you want to fit someone back there you have to have the front seats like 1/2 way foward. they do look nice though even if they don't serve much of a purpose

i wonder how short the 6" person's legs got to be to fit in the back.
unless the person driving is a midget and has the seat all the way up :rlaugh:

You can say that again. Ever tried to fit into JDM seats?!

The rear seats look real nice...but I'd never put 'em in my FD. Something about me being stubborn believing sports cars shouldn't have back seats, cruise control, or cupholders :D

Yes, but then I think to myself "c'mon...it's a hardcore sports car, not a minivan!" :D That, and the HORROR that would ensue if I spilled something in the FD...well...that does away w/ that "sometimes..." thought REAL quick ;)

jic 06-13-05 07:57 PM

but what happens when you get a drink from the drive-thru?

FDNewbie 06-13-05 08:07 PM

1) I never eat in the FD. Never. Not only can you spill/drop/stain stuff, but then you're gonna drive w/ dirty hands, AND be distracted? The FD's too precious to me for that :D Can you tell I'm a fanatic?! haha.

2) I can't reach the drive-thru window from the FD anyways :p:

3) In my FB, I usually just order a sandwich and fries, no drink. If I really want a drink, I have this little garbage bag (plastic grocery bag) that's hanging from the shift knob. Wedge the drink IN the bag tightly, and you got a solid cupholder (the ones on the glove box door couldn't hold a drink if you superglued it LOL)

I can fit back there and im 6'4 300lbs.. just not to comfortable.. my friend who is 6'1 180lbs fits pretty good, and all my 5footer friends fit "suprisingly comfortable" I always shove my fiance back there when I have tall friends that go with me places.. or the guy at work who is annoying me at the time.

FDnewbie, I sold my purplecar to rotarynemesis about 15 months ago.

^ yeah, I saw your old car at one of the meets before, but it was repainted. I haven't seen you post in a while, how did your GT42 13BRE project turn out? I assumed you sold the car since I saw it on the classifieds.
