rear end oil

Well my rear end was leaking oil, so I replaced both oil seals...now I need to know what type of oil to fill the rear end back up with? Thanks.

buy a gallon of neo synthetic oil. you can do your tranny, rear end, and have a tiney bit leftover. you want the 75-90hd its about 40 bucks. i cant remember where i got it but it was some website with "baker" in it. good luck!

Baker precision sells the Neo.

But if you simply need to fill the diff, I'd buy any synthetic GL-5 you can find.

I've heard NEO is really good, and that it'll smooth out any rough spots in your tranny. Right now in my FB I have Valvoline 85-90 semi-synth, and it's absolute shit. It heats up bad from driving around town, and my tranny gets really notchy. when I replace my trans after this winter i'm going to either go NEO or Royal Purple. Just make sure when you put new oil in the rear you make sure it's for a torsion diff, or you put in the appropriate addative.
