Really need help on rebuild Seals ive had to stop the project
Hi i really could do with some help, im currently rebuilding my 1997 RX7 as the engine died from Oring failure, and as im taking the engine out im replacing everything internal and upgrading?
there two things im going to do which is install race rotor bearings, and heavy duty water seals, but im don't have a clue on the apex seals lots of people are offering different types loads of different types of 2mm ones 3mm don't really want to go for the 3mm ones as ill be using it for street use and theres also RA Supper seal? don't know if they do 2mm which ones are the best to go with or what would you guys recommend and were can i get them from? any help would be great really stuck on this im running twin stock turbos and boost raised to 1 bar, going to be up grading the fuel injectors as well also have stand alone ecu and race logic traction control with launch control my full engine car spec is below Engine Blitz front mounted intercooler Apexi power FC (stand alone ECU) Koyo full aluminium radiator, Bosch 300 L/hr fuel pump, Apexi dump valve Apexi voltage stabilizer with earthing kit HKS 11 heat range plugs (11 Trailers, 10.5 leading) RE ignition leads Blitz NUR-SPEC full cat back exhaust system (full stainless steel) HKS down pipe TRUST mid pipe all Stainless steel straight through all the way from down pipe Blitz dual turbo timer Boost raised to 1.0 bar Stinger 1000 dry battery (1200 amps of cranking power), GReddy throttle elbow (ported) Blitz Sus Power Dual induction kit (metal mesh makes a awesome sound) HKS oil catch tank Top of the range latest Race Logic traction control system with launch control and full throttle shift and wet and dry setting if you choose to go drifting. SSS ceramic front brake pads Red stuff rear pads Brembo drilled and slotted brake discs Blitz stainless steel brake lines front and rear all samaco hoses greddy 2pc pulley kit doing loads of mods to the whole car going to do a post at completion will be great any ideas recommendations all round / comparisons would be great thanks lads lee |
