$32,900 for a no options/base model from 93. Each year it went up.

richelesro 02-14-02 11:06 AM

My car is a '94 touring and it went for just under $42k. R1s in that year for $39,500. Base for $38,000.

Goober 02-14-02 01:25 PM

Anyone know how much R2s were???

richelesro 02-14-02 01:34 PM

From what I've seen, the pricing between '94 and '95 weren't too much different. (Maybe a variance to $+/-500-1000.) R2 and R1 are pretty much the same.

i just did a little calculation for $40,665 price tag in 1994

turns out today, our top model cars would cost: $63,496!!!

I leased mine for $366 a month.

In Denmark, a 92 model (which was never sold here from new) would cost you about 133.100$ as STARTING price :D

revsteve 10-22-12 07:24 PM

Damnit! I was gonna do the inflation thing.

So here's the question - would you pay $63k for a 21st century Rx7 today or would you rather have <insert 65k car here>?

This calls for its own thread!

In Australian dollars it was something around $80K- $100K (top of the line SP)

Funny because our AUD dollar is usually on parity with your USA dollar these days, yet we pay $30,000.00 AU for a new Toyota Corolla or some basic cr@pbox, more than double sticker prices that the Americans pay.
Yet our dollar is similar....
