RE Headlight Hella 90mm

I have installed my Rotary Extreme headlight but have found them far less bright than the OEM lights. Has anyone else experienced the same. If not, could I have wired them wrong or something. Both turn on fine, in fact the high beam is WAY BRIGHT but the low is horrible.

If it is a sleek headlight kit that you installed, this is an unfortunate result of most if not all of them and the primary reason why I have opted to go for the "lazy eye" or "sleepy eye" conversion... I am not a fan of the pop up's but I am also a strong proponent of function over form.

Have you considered reversing the wiring so that you can utilize the high beams as your driving lights? You would obviously have to play around with the light fixture it self to get the cut off right so that you dont get a ticket!!!

It is most likely not ur wiring probably. It is probably somewhere within the circuit you have "resistance" which can dim the light out put. Check your lighting connections for rust or corrosion. Or somewhere it is not securely tightly. Or, simply it can be a bad ground.

But consider most after market non-pop-up conversions does not have better lighting output unless it was proven. Good luck.
