Got some detail picture of this front lip. Never knew it extends in so much... ANyone have this on the FD?

Scrub 02-01-06 07:39 PM

I almost bought that instead of the Vertex front, but i didn't end up going with it. I've seen it in person and it doesn't extend that far. I know where you got that pictuuure :) japan auctions???

RE-Amemiya 02-01-06 07:49 PM

All i have are pics of the kit installed on FD's. Don't know of anybody in particular who actually has it

audiobot7 02-01-06 07:52 PM

nice :icon_tup:

KeloidJonesJr. 02-01-06 08:08 PM

Yes, very nice, but Vertex DOES own all.
R Spec is nice, too https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...hmentid=139975

fd3s800 02-01-06 08:16 PM

I bought one from Chuck , it is a very nice undersweep

94RHDFD 02-01-06 08:50 PM

I have the N1 front bumper and also plan to buy the undersweep from Chuck

Quickfini 02-01-06 09:06 PM

Damn that's a hot bumper.

Where'd you get that bumper from? Or the N1 from?

The only 2 places I know so far are procarparts.com and Rotary Extreme. Are there any other places to get those at?

Chuck at Rotary Extreme is probably your best bet, hes a great guy to do buisness with.

That's cuz they don't make a lip for that front bumper ;) What you're looking at is the N1 front bumper w/ their undersweep...it's a canard/lip/undertray all in one.

Here's the N1 front bumper (bare):

Here's the undersweep:

That bumper's in Japan. It's a used original RE N1 w/ undersweep in CF (it's also available in fiberglass).

Ah dang Ramy, I was about to answer this thread with exactly your pictures and pretty much your words :D

Yeap, the CF one is the underpanel cover. Which cost about U$1300ish. plus the front bar with almost the same price, plus shipping etc...would be about U$3000ish...

That's why the came with a new front bar "Ad style"

This is the kit I like the most for an FD, 2nd is the burnout.

KaiFD3S 02-02-06 01:27 AM

That was the kit I was going to get but figured since Chuck is making it there will be a lot of them here in the states...So I went with a bumper that nobody has here to my knowledge...

one80 02-02-06 03:42 AM

The RE Amemiya kits always look good, but with the canards and everything are probably a bit impractical for the street (well, my streets anyway).

FDNewbie 02-02-06 12:42 PM

Well I dunno about where you live, but even the LOOK of the RE kit is impractical if you cops in your area ;) LOL

meyers0912 02-02-06 01:02 PM

The look with just the undersweep and no canards, like Steve Cod use to have on his car looks the best and most practical for a street driven FD, IMO.

I bought mine from procarpart few year back for $500 and it fit prefect. I think Chuck is not making the N1 bumper anymore.

Negative. INGS+1 owns all.
That is all. Thankyou.

FDNewbie 02-02-06 02:11 PM

Meyers, I think the bumper alone is wayyyy too plain and round.

fd3s800, that's the first I hear of a procarparts part fitting perfectly haha

ptrhahn 02-02-06 03:13 PM

I'd only run that Amemiya thing on a track-only car, and only if I thought it actually worked.... Then I could take those ugly ass parts-bin signal lights off, and use the holes for brake ducts.

errrr...it doesn't fit perfect : )

FromSilvia2seven 02-02-06 05:03 PM

i own and FD with the full n1 kit on it. i want the lip but for a street car i don't know about it. it looks to add about 2-3in of length to the front end which since my car is lowered already scrapes every once in a while at the length its at already

Do you have pics of the fitment of your bumper? I was thinking about getting that bumper too.

FDNewbie 02-03-06 12:13 AM

Meyers, got ya. I agree w/ ya...that looks pretty nice. But I'm crazy...if I went w/ that bumper, I'd go all out, and try and make a replica of the white RE Super G FD
