RB dual tip & RB single tip sound alike?
 

I am about to order my cat-back and I just wanted to know if they sound the same. I have read a large number of posts about exhaust systems, and it seems that RB is the way to go. But I think I am different then most in that I prefer the single tip look. Bring on the rice!!!

I'd like to know this too. I'll probably be going with an RB exhaust when I get one, and still am not sure of the subtle differences between single and dual tip. Someone speak up!

The sound from each is very similar, I have heard both on different cars so no direct a/b experience. In theory, the single tip should be a bit louder but I would say to buy based on looks. These catbacks are high quality and the sound is perfect (imho) ... not too loud, no droning, and the sound is deep yet still rotary-like. I just bought a dual tip for my sinlge turbo car. You will need the rear hanger off the stock catback.

I also added an XR1 to my midpipe years ago and it really helps to deepen the sound while taking about 4 dB off the exhaust note. I'd say the RB dual tip is very comparable to my old Greddy Trust single tip catback (straight thru 3").

Does anyone have anymore feedback to offer here? Considering getting the single tip but want to insure that it is not ricey or loud in person. Please share your experiences if you have been able to compare and contrast the RB single and dual in person.

I have heard the RB duals on my friends t78 stock port REW, let's try to use that as a base-line for the exhaust note.
