radiator hoses

Well last winter I had a radiator hose split open so I had both the upper and lower hoses replaced with stock pieces. Now just yesterday one of my hoses sprung a leak after only a half hour of driving. So I am debating whether to just get another stock hose or order a set of these SFS performance hoses.

Well you have seen it. Stock hoses cost 45$ and have split on you twice.

I just don't understand why you would not gow with some nice Samcos from Rx7store.net @ 130$.

Good luck,
Alex

I used to have Samco IC hoses, good quality stuff. Go with the Samco's.

Samco hoses? Give me a break. The OEM hoses should last for several years with no problems.

Something is happening to ruin your hoses.

When you say "stock pieces", do you mean you bought them from Mazda or the autoparts store?

I agree with Rynberg - the stock *Mazda* radiator hoses are very well designed and will last a VERY long time. Either it's a cheapie parts store hose or you had something rub into/cut the hose, or both :).

The hoses in there now came from and were installed by a mazda dealership in NJ. I guess I won't really know if something is cutting into the hose unless I take it out and inspect it.
