Quick vaccum hose question

I have nice boost pattern, 10-8-11, or so thats what autometer says. Im about to go ahead and change my spark plugs/wires and rip my injectors out to get serviced while I'm at it. Might as well change the hoses while I'm there but I was thinking, because of my boost pattern is it really necessary to do the vacuum upgrade?

Really, the stock vaccum hoses are fine as long as they're undisturbed. The problem is if you remove the line, it won't seal up properly when you reconnect the line.

I would get some silicone vacuum line to have on hand to replace whatever lines you end up disconnecting to get to the fuel rails. You can of course go ahead and do the full vacuum line job - that's definitely a good time to do the job, you'll totally be in there.

Might also think about some Viton check valves :).

I would go ahead and do the full silicone job considering it's gonna have to be done sooner or later, and Dales Viton check valves are definetly worth the money. If you have a slightly malfunctioning check valve that could be causing your 11psi.

Haha yea that diagram scares me. It is just chilling in the garage until spring time rolls around and there isn't one flake of snow on the roads. Im getting the pills from Dave though so might as well get some hoses. I hear hightempsilicone has good prices. Any others worth mentioning?
