Alright, so I had to drain my coolant because my upper radiator hose broke.

Anyways, to be safe, what do I need to do to get the air out of the system? I added coolant to the filler cap, started the car with the heat on full blast and AST and filler cap off. Waited for 6-7 minutes until I saw coolant bubbling up near the top of the coolant cap and then turned off the car and just let the car sit with the AST and filler cap off. This should be it right? All the bubbles should be out and I should be good to go?

Most of the air should be out of the system. I would put back the caps and drive the car until it is at operating temperature and then let it sit overnight and then inspect the level again and top up as necessary. I found that I had to top up a little for a few days.
