Hallman for manual. This is the one I use. The controller is in the cabin for easy tuning.

do you have to drill a hole through the firewall to install that thing?

TurboXS manual boost controller works great for my twins but the adjustment is made under the hood (preferably while the car is stopped).

Greddy Profec Type-S. Cheap, reliable, easy to use. No futzing with a manual controller!

Please use the search function, there ain't much new in boost control for the last few years and there are TONS of install/setup threads.

Just take your time and be VERY careful when setting everything up. One wrong direction can lead to a lot of problems, trust me. I wouldnt mess with the manual either, go with the greddy blitz or hks unit. Depends on your budget.

haha and honestly i never really knew the difference can someone clarify for me the difference between a manual and digital boost controller? the manual pretty much uses like a set screw of some sort or a nob to manually adjust vacume pressure. the digital is an "electronic" boost controller that uses a motor to create a vacume... am i correct i just never understood or looked into the terms.

A manual controller uses a valve to regulate how much air pressure the wastegate actuator sees. An electronic boost controller uses a solenoid to do the same thing.

thats what i thought. thank you very much rynberg! how do you use a manual boost controller from in the cabin though? is there a cable or you extend a vaccume line to the cabin where you put the valve? im tryin to learn here! lol

Electronic will use logic to allow faster spool times. Waste gate will not be opening on a linear scale with rising boost pressure but will start opening later to anticipate max boost as set in the controller
