Quick Question

I have an Auto ECU from my car to sell, and a potential buyer is wanting too know if it will work in Cali., are all the same or is there a difference?

you can take a federal ecu and put it in a california emmisions car ok. the cali ecu will be looking for an egr sensor that is not on ferderal emission cars and will set a code. this is all supposition as i have no personal exp. but it seem,s to make sense

As a FYI, there are "Federal" (49-state), and California ECUs; the latter looks for the EGR. A Federal ECU will work in a California car, but not the other way around (with the exception of '95 cars).
