A quick question
 
Hi. Im looking into buying an rx-7. and yes i read all those links before i made this post. Really i just have one question. I heard basically i shouldnt get an FD after 50k. Is this true? really thats my only question. If there is anything else you think i should know please inform me. Thanks a lot

Sure search, and check out EVERYONE that has posted about getting an FD. 2nd do you have a steady job? 8$ an hour (at least) around 30 hours a week? this one be a cheap car. Finally more than 50k is a ok. The motor can be replaced if need be, high miles means more wear and tear on the chassis meaning replacing bushings and such. Good luck in your hunt, I just got for with 55k for 9,000$, it was a steal =P.

Guy, this car is 10+ years old. Finding one with less than 50k REAL miles is not going to be easy, let alone cheap.

true true. either way.. you will encounter the synchro thing eventually. when you get it... take best care of it.
