Quick Engine removal question
 

All instructions i've foudn for removing the engine tell me to removce the a/c compressor.

Do I have to remove the a/c compressor before removing the engine or can I just disconnect the lines?

No, you dont have to, you can leave the P/S and A/C stuff on the rack and pull it all out with the engine.

Just be sure to drain and disconnect the lines.

btw, I noticed your from Wichita. Have you met Quinn yet? I just got off the phone with him. Defintely an FD owner you want to meet.

The ps and the ac can be taken off the rack and tied to the side with out draining . The engine removed and replaced and you do not have to refill the ps fluid or the ac gas .

Thanks for the help guys, yup I met him a while back, pretty cool guy, and his car is just crazy. His turbo was bigger then my head lol
