quick clutch question..

i have a 93 R1 and the clutch has been acting goofy.. it doesn't grab until the very top of the pedal and there has been a few times where it doesn't grab at all. the car does need a rebuild but i miss my weekend cruiser..

what type clutch does a 93 RX7 have? hydraulic or cable? and if its hydraulic where is reservoir? and if its cable, is there some way i can adjust it to grab better?

EDIT: oh and i did search.. but didn't come up with what i was looking for..

Its hydraulic. The reservoir is the same one for the brakes under the hood. The clutch has an adjustment on the pedal to change where when it engages and another to change the height of the pedal

that's what i thought! thanks for the reply!

well a little further description.. my dad was driving it the other day and he said the clutch seemed fine and then just completely randomly he would put the clutch to the floor to shift and it wouldn't come back up. or other times the pedal would engage at the bottom and then other times at the top? anyone know a reason to this extreme inconsistency?

Slave or master cylinder may need rebuilt. Or if something was done to the clutch recently it might have air in the lines.
