Hose techniques switched to all commercial operations. They don't do retail stuff anymore so you won't find their kit available. That kit you linked looks fine except you really don't need that much hose at that price. You can buy it If You want of course but realistically you can spend half or less than that and get what you need.

Yep, Hose Techniques faded out and got really expensive and had nothing in stock.
I have been getting all my SVH from Boostcontroller.com -
TurboLogic
Get 20-30 feet of 3.5mm and 10 feet of 6mm and you're good. Their prices are great and the quality of the hose is top notch - thick walled, properly sized, and oil resistant.

I would make sure to get premium platinum cured silicone hoses. They are a little more expensive but take heat for many more years without hardening and bend way better than regular non-cured hose. I can take a 360 degree turn with no kinking or breaking and it will keep it shape for years.

I have one of the full viton tubing kits from back in the day. Never used. I paid a pretty penny for it, and then went a different direction from the twins. I may still use it on a backup engine built with BNR's or something unless I get an offer I cant refuse by someone really wanting the viton stuff. That being said, from everything I have read and seen in person, high quality silicon will do really well.

Old silicone vacuum hose was crap, I have worked with it in person. Super thin walls, turned to goo as soon as it touched oil, ends would split easily, and many times they weren't available in the right size so you had to glue and zip tie everything or they would pop off.
Proper 3.5mm hose will fit well and the link above is top quality stuff for a fair price. I've run it on multiple cars over the years, holds up great, won't kink closed, won't split, and can take the oil.
Viton hose is good as far as oil resistance and general hose quality, but there is zero give to the hose so it's REALLY hard to get onto nipples sometimes. Silicone has a great deal of stretch, Viton has nearly zero give. Compared to old crap silicone hose Viton is way better (and that's where the whole "use Viton hose" came from) but compared to modern quality silicone hose I'd take the SVH every time.
