question: engine assembly

im on step 9 of re-assembling my engine, in which i have to put the intermediate housing through the e-shaft, i'm having trouble with this part, i was wondering if i could just thread the eshaft through the imtermediate housing and then thread the eshaft through the first rotor/rotor housing

i got the intermediate housing on and the e-shaft in, is there a way to test that the first rotor and all the apex seals are in properly and if the o-rings didnt mis-seat while putting on the intermediate housing?

Not that I know of. You'd have to take it apart again to look. Just be careful the first time and you'll be fine.

when you have the motor assembled, turn it over at least a dozen times and listen for compression sounds and make sure it turns smoothly. Pineapple racing sells a coolant seal pressure tester tool. http://www.rebuildingrotaryengines.c...sure-test-tool

does that mean i shoudl be able to turn the e-shaft a full 360 by hand?

Once you assemble the engine, just put a 19mm socket & wrench on the front e-shaft bolt and turn the motor over by hand. Listen for the compression puffs. You need to listen for each chamber to make sure all chambers are making "some" compression.

All this was explained in the Rotary Aviation video which would have given you a step by step visual walk through of everything you need/needed to do for under $30.
