Question on Air Bleed Screw

I just got my car back from a rebuild and am working out some warm startup issues. I'm having issues when I restart the car after its fully warm and it has set a few minutes. It eather doesn't start without alot of cranking or it starts but idles very low, ~500, then slowly gains rpm to the correct idle. It often dies if I don't give it some gas to get the rpm up. The idle is fine once the car is running.

I would like to check the Air Bleed Screw setting but I don't know how many turns out it should be set at. I can set the idle by both adjusting the Air Bleed Screw or the throttle set screw. With one set I can set the idle anywhere by adjusting the other. It seems like there should be a proper setting on one of them and then you fine tune the idle with the other.

Anyone got info on this? Also if you think I'm going down the wrong path to fix my problem I would appriciate your input.

Every car is different, so there is no "proper" setting. I've found that my car gets a lot of "overrun" (takes longer for the rpms to drop after shutting the throttle) if I try to adjust the idle with the AAS (the bleed screw). I'd try to keep the air screw as close to fully closed as possible, and control the idle more with the throttle adjust screw.
