question about mazda gaskets, seals, and o-rings kits

ok, I was wondering if anyone knew if a "heater hose" that runs from the motor comes with it. My mechanic gave me this wishy washy parts list of what I needed ( in process of rebuild), and said that the seals and gasket kit that mazda provides gives you this hose....???

First handedly, sorry I dont know which hose it is exactly, and secondly, does mazda even give you NE hoses at all with this kit?

Nope. The big gasket kit, part number 8AFE-10-271, contains no hoses. LOTS of other stuff, though...

Does he mean the quick disconnect that attaches to the stub under the Oil filter, and allows the heater hose on the driver's side to be connected? You should use a new one. It does not come with the gasket kit either. Mazdatrix has them, though.

heater hose? don't think so... sounds like you are having issues with your mechanic...

fwiw - After seeing the seals firsthand and comparing to the aftermarket ones, I went with the aftermarket silicon seals.
