Question about interior panels.

I was wondering if you bought replacement panels such as door panels and such from like a dealer or other places and you got them brand new, do they come with the screws you need to put it on? Or does it depend on where you get them from? Thanks.

You should have them from removing your old ones, correct?
Also- new door panels are about $1k EACH from malloy mazda, and for the kicker- they require your "cores".

you could probabily save yourself $1500 or better by going to a good shop and having them dyed

Oh wow, that's expensive. It's because a lot of my interior pieces are broken.

clips hold them on and no you recive just the part ordered. Do they require a core? Thats extremely odd. Get them used or gule new clip where they need to go with a 2-part epoxy. They are still expensive used. I have had great succes with sherwin williams interior dye/paint. My interior looks almost new after about 15 hours worth of work and $150 in materials.

Anybody know where can i get the little door for the interior drivers door compartment? mine cracked at the hinge.

The door pocket is always cracked at the pocket is $150 from the dealer. I got lucky once and found one for sale here, new, at $75. :)

But mostly interior parts suck. Expensive, difficult, and fragile.

Some of the parts on the door panels are available separately, like the passenger side grip handle that always breaks, and the abovementioned door pocket. Also, the plastic panels are available. The body of the door panel itself is the pricey part, but it's also relatively sturdy if it's not trashed.

thats odd. I have seen this stuff hold up great on hard plastic, the doors and headliner should hold up according to our jobber who im sure would have recomended a diffrent process if it was needed. The pannesls were sanded and cleaned with the sw plastic cleaner, coated with sw ad promoter, and then the sw interior paint was used. Everyone I talked to told me it should work out great. Shop owner, jobber, counter guys up at the sw store down the street from the shop when i needed exta paint asap.
