Question about greddy boost controller
 

i bought my just bought my rx7 with a greddy boost controller. When i desided to punch it in 3rd gear at about 5,500 rpms it suddenly losses power. When i looked at my boost gauge, i saw it shoot up to alittle past 1 bar of boost but as it did i lost power. My boost controller is set to 1 bar. I was wondering if the greddy boost controller has a boost cut off thing or something?

If your controller is the Profec A and possibly Profec B the boost controller has a panic mode which cuts boost if it detects overboost.

well everything is stock except intake, greddy elbow and intercooler. Should i set the boost controller alittle higher and see if it happens again?

You are hitting fuel cut! You are limited to 10 psi on the stock ecu.....I suggest turning down your boost controller immediately, reading the FAQ thread and archives, and hope your motor is still in one piece.
