Question about clutch?

I was driving my car kinda hard and i took my car pretty hard on a turn and when i stepped on the clutch pedal it went completely down. Now the clutch pedal is all the way down and when i pull it up and press on the clutch again there is no resistance. When my buddy was pushing the car and the car was moving, i was able to rev the engine and put the car in 1st and drive it as if it was in first gear only back to the place that we have the car. When we checked the clutch fluid, it was all there (the round bottle thing next to the brake fluid). Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is? clutch slave? any help is greatly appreciated thanks.

it must have been a fun corner...

there are 3 possibilities

1. you broke the clutch throw out arm in half

2. the wedge collar (pressure plate to throwout bearing) separated

3. hydraulic leak all of a sudden.

above listed in order of probability.

keep us posted. good luck.

My guess would be the clutch release fork/arm like howard said above. There is a little inspection plate/cover held on my two screws on the passenger side of the tranny... pop that off and you should be able to see inside and get a better idea.

The old fork would break particularly with aftermarket clutches. Mazda made it stronger. A new one is less than 100 bucks from Malloy.
