Question about boost gauge fitment issues in a dash speaker mount enclosure.

Just wondering if anyone installed an Autometer boost gauge into a dash speaker mount enclosure ?
The nylon sender line doesn't look like it should be bent and it needs to at the back of the enclosure. Has anyone found an angle fitting at McMaster-Carr or elsewhere that might work ? Anyone have a part number or suggestions ?

Thanks.

My suggestion would be to get an electronic gauge and not have to worry about that little vacuum line.....

Ditch the stupid nylon hose. Go to a hardware store and get a fitting that will screw into the back of the gauge and converts it to a typical hose barb.

The nylon tubing/ferrules that come with Autometer gauges suck. The small tubing slows response, and the ferrules will leak after being reinstalled once or twice, changing the gauge's reading.

I have an Autometer analog gauge already, so looking for a way to make it work Rynberg. Thanks.

I'll try a local NAPA Dale, they might have thick walled fuel hose as well, which I'm guessing I would use in place of this nylon stuff ?

Thanks for your suggestions.

You don't want to use soft rubber hose through the firewall, otherwise you are risking it being pinched close.
