Question about AC cooler hard line connections
 

The AC cooling unit I'm trying to install is a 1993 Japanese version if the 1993 FD parts microfiche is correct.
(maybe they were used on domestic cars too, I don't know) There is a second domestic model listed as "optional" with slight case and hard line differences. Parts are 6100 series numbers.
I can't locate a part number (or any reference to) the smaller diameter aluminum line (~ 3/16 to 1/4 " diam) running from the front right of the engine back to the firewall where it should connect to the cooling unit using a compression nut.
My existing line is incompatible being much longer and going thru the firewall about 5 inches with no place for it to connect to the cooling unit. There is a shut off valve on my incompatible line below the engine bay ABS unit instead
of a line termination and compression fitting.

Has anybody had a similar experience or information about this engine bay AC hard line. I can't find it on AC compressor or AC cooler parts pages and need to order one.
If it is JDM only, where would I begin to look ?
I will take pics if my explanation is too confusing.

First off, what car is this going on? Your location tag says "NW" - that could be anywhere. Are you in the US?

That said, in general, the Touring models are the only ones with the Nippondenso AC that was installed in Japan. Base/R models had MANA port-installed AC. None of the components are compatible.

Actual JDM AC parts (as in, from a Japanese car) are VERY not compatible - the lines run quite differently since the evaporator under the dash is on the opposite side. The compressor/condensor might be, but the lines will be quite different.

It's a 1993 US touring model. I'm in the Seattle area.
I purchased the AC cooler from a member of this forum and the larger upper hard line connects where it should, but I suspect a previous owner of the FD either changed the smaller diameter line to a 6" longer line because it has a shut off tee or he had an altogether different AC cooler for whatever reason.
It looks like the hard line I need (highlighted in yellow) might be PN 61-464 if it is in fact the correct length. It's definitely different from the line currently on my car.

I'll see if someone at Mazda can measure one if they have one in stock.
