Pulling engine codes and other stuff
A little history.
I have a black RX7 - i bought it as a non runner, rebuilt it - when it started, it started on 1 rotor. Found no ignition on front rotor - plugs were clean. Swapped the coils out, spark plugs etc, same problem. Swapped injectors from front to rear - now no ignition on rear rotor. Thought great. Car wouldnt start after a while after that, but idid confirm ignition in front rotor. swapped injectors - car now wont start, the bloody thing. Anyway, went to pull engine codes, jumped TEN and GND - key on, no engine check light. Unplugged air pump, did it again - no engine check light?! i also tried to pul codes on my fully working car once, and got no check light either. Both cars are jap imports what am i doing wrong?! |
You may not have a CEL on the dash. Most JDM versions did not have the light on the dash (I'm assuming that's where you are looking for the codes).
