Proper seat belt hardware

Does anyone know the thread size and pitch of the bolts that go into the holes where the stock seatbelts bolt in. I am installing some racing harnesses and no longer have the stock bolts. Thanks

7/16" UNF, every FIA one I've ever had, seems to come with the hardware.

yes, the belts did come with hardware, however I want to install the belts into the mounting location where the stock belts were bolted in. The hardware that came with the belts does not thread into the stock holes and wanted to know what size this would be. Anyone know? Thanks

Odd, anyway, unless there's some sort of US regulatory difference, the seat belt reinforcements spot welded to the shell will still be 7/16".

I would buy new ones from Mazda.

not to thread jack but curious what tracks usually require as far as where the harness' need to be mounted?

would bolting the shoulder harness where the seat rails mount be acceptable?

IIRC, when I ordered my harnesses I used the HA-AUT-103 bolt set:

That was MANY years ago, but give it a shot.

No. The shoulder straps need to go at a specific angle "BACK" to provide proper resistance. If you have them go down to the floor behind the seat, the resistance is down rather than back. This can cause spinal injuries in the case of an accident.
