Projector lamps
 

Does anyone make any projector type head lamps that work with the stock pop up headlight?

I think any projector type headlight would require replacing
the whole headlight assembly.

only thing that works with the stock headlights, are bulbs

I would also like to see these projector headlights when you finish. :bigthumb:

I remember when I went to car design school, every nerd (incl. yours truly) were drawing cars w/ distributed lighting systems. Wonder when they'll be commercially available. This may solve some of the problems w/ bulb size, bulges, and fitment due to the low vertical height of the sleek light.

BTW, DLS are fibre optically coupled headlights that allow remote mounting of the beam source. I think Visteon and Delphi have done applications already.

Any optical engineer on the forum?

Geez, that's really aging me. I went in 1990. Art Center College of Design. My instructors worked @ Honda R&D in Torrance and Disney Imagineering. The Honda guy did the GenIV Honda Civic and was part of the NSX design team. The Disney guy designed the Honda Cub scooter and worked on EuroDisney's theme rides.
