Profec B very very strange boost patterns

Ok, I have done all the searches, followed all the tips from lighting in a world of thunder and Rob Robinette's site and still I am getting the strangest boost patterns with the profec b.

1st- I have confirmed everything is hooked up correctly, both hoses are going to the correct in or out and I also capped off the correct one as well.

2nd the dip switches are in the proper place on, off on, off.

3rd the pill has also been removed

Here are my boost patterns:

With the unit off I get 7lbs transition 5-6lbs and 7-8 lbs

With the unit on low boost turned all the way to min. I get 7lbs transition 5-6 lbs then 10lbs transition again, then 12-13lbs.

Has anyone had this problem? where do I start?

Thanks for any and all help

Are you saying you are getting a stumble or a second transition?

hmmm... and you tapped into the correct hose like you said, right?
Unit off sounds normal. Low Setting numbers is strange. Where did you mount the stepping motor and tap into the vacuum? You have no kinks in the vacuum line I suppose. Sounds like you installed it correctly and pulled the required pill. Is it creeping or spiking to 12-13psi from 10psi?(which should be 7psi anyways if all knobs are on min). You could have a bad Profec unit. Anyone else want to take a shot?

No kinks in the lines, I mounted it under and to the side of the overflow so the vac. lines run less than a foot.

the boost is not creeping in the second transition it gets there quick.

Anyone?

I had almost the same problem, but I am running single. Could only produce 7psi no matter what boost setting I put it on. High or low all the way turned up or down.

Problem was in my resonated midpipe, heat from the engine somehow melted the pos inside or something. So exhaust gas wasn't flowing effeciently.

Took the resonator out and put in a straight midpipe. Problem solved.

Don't know if this might be your case too. What are your mods?
