Problems after engine change

The 'new' engine is in but it doesnt work the way it suppose to do.

When the car starts to build up boost the car halts and shoots flames out the exhaust. If i barley touch the pedal the car accelerates fine until 3-4000rpm then the same thing happens.

Anyone had any similar problems?
