Problems :(
 

I had went down to see cam at pettit tuesday to check things out and speak with him while I was down there he seen my car and saw I had no heat sheild on my turbo. So he grabbed one from the same kit he had laying around and just kinda shoved itbetween the turbo and the block. Since that has happened I have a coolant leak somewhere in the area, I cant see exactly where though.. If the car sits more than a hour it will need about a half litre of coolant. Just enough to sound the buzzer. What should I do about this, do you guys know of any coolant lines running down there that are damagable?

I got a t78. I dont think it has a coolant line running to it. I think just a oil line?

Is there a puddle at all under your car after you park it? Is the car smoking? If the T78 has a dry center section like you say then the stock coolant passages should be blocked off. I have mine blocked off with rubber caps, maybe the shield sliced on of those open? They are near the front of the motor just under where the airpump would be. HTH

There is a puddle. My car only gives a little blue and black smoke off. I have no air pump either. I seen a line that has a screw or somthing in it blocking it off, would that be the coolant line you speak of? Or is there more than one?

That could sounds like one of them, one point back toward the firewall and one point down and out towards the passenger fender (if I remember correctly). I tried to find a diagram that shows it but I don't have one here, but if you have them plugged with threaded inserts that probably isn't the problem. Where is the puddle forming under the motor?
